PRINCESS THEATRE
The new bill at the Princess Theatre is more, than usually attractive, and the applause with which the principal items are greeted is evidence of appreciation bv patrons. The revue, “The Scarab,’’ presented by the Walter George Sunshine Players, has a true Oriental flavour, which appeals to a large section of playgoers, and as produced by this talented combination earns warm applause for those taking the principal parts. The musical numbers are not the least attractive features of the piece, and the clever patter introduced by Mr George Storey adds materially to the comedy side. Ernest Krake and Go., English comedy acrobats, are responsible for a turn which is above the average in ibe matter of skill. The acrobatic feature is supplemented with some clever byplay by one of the three performers, am] altogether the turn is one which deservedly earns its full share of applause. The '.Stagpooles, Pat and Paula Hanson, and Jack Birchley each do capable turns. The same programme will lie repeated this evening.
