RAILWAY SERVICES AND RUGBY FOOTBALL. TO THE EDITQB. SlB,—A3 a resident of Palmerston and on behalf of lovers of Rugby football, I would like to suggest to the Railway Department that the train leaving Dunedin for Palmei--eton at 4.28 p.m. should be. delayed until 5.27 p.m. on Saturdays. I am confident that a large number of people living between Dunedin and Palmerston would take advantage of the opportunity to witness any of the matches, especially the games that are on the programme for the rest of the season. As it is at present, Rugby enthusiasts have to be content with seeing half a game and then rushing for the train, unless they are fortunate enough to he able to stay in Dunedin over the week-end. The tram at 4.28 p.m. is always delayed for race meetings, and I see no reason why football followers should not bo catered for the same as racegoers.—l am, e fo., Rugbyite. Palmerston, Juno 25. A SUNDAY LOAN. A gentleman in the suburbs borrowed some Fluonzol in the morning, as his wife had lost her voice for over a week. in the evening he returned the loan, and said liw lioaxseness feM. cc&te gone.—Advt.
