EPIDEMIC IN THE NORTH. (Pek United Press Association.) CHRISTCHURCH, June 25. The Lyttehon District High School has been closed for a week from to-day owing to the attendance being under the minimum. Six teachers were absent to-day with severe colds. Apparently there is an epidemic of colds at Lyttelton, as six outside employees of the Borough Council, as well as the borough engineer and the gasworks manager, are down with them. ASHBURTON, June 25. Influenza is on the increase.
