The expenditure of local authorities from rates in 1922-23 was, in England and Wales, £159,000,000, and in Scotland £17,543,000. Of the total for England and Wales £37,000,000 was spent on the relief of the poor, £32,400,000 on education, £8,900,000 on police, and £80,700,000 on “other services.” If or Bronchitis or Asthma inhale “XAZOL.” Immediate relief will follow.
