ASTRONOMICAL NOTES FOR JUNE.
THE SUN. The sun will be in R.A. from 4.33.17 to 6.33.23, in north declination from 21.57.4 to 23.13.29, and in longitudo from 69.57.53 to 97.39.51. The winter solstice occurs on the 21st. THE MOON. The phases of the moon will bo as follow:
THE PLANETS. . Mercury will bo in E.A. from 4.13.51 to 5.4.3 and in declination from 18.19.30 to 20.41.13 north. It will be in aphelion on the Ist, and will be stationary on the 9th. It will be in conjunction with the moon on tho 12th and at its greatest elongation on the 22nd. l r „..,,,. Venus will be in R.A. from 2.44.34 to 5 8.57 and in north declination from 14.15.5 to 22.15.26. It will bo in conjunction with the moon on the 11th. Mars will be in R.A. from 6.4.39 to 727 7 and in north declination from 24.24.54 to 23.1.34. It will be in conjunction with the moon on tho 15th. Jupiter will be in R.A. from 14.35.34 to 14 28 27 and in south declination from 13 - 54 - .7 to 13.27.10. It will be in conjunction with the moon on tho 24th. Saturn will be in R.A. from 12.54.0 to 12 53 39 and in south • declination from 2 54.46 to 3.0.23. It will be stationary, on the 17th and will be in conjunction with the moon on the 22nd.
