MTnnes defeated Schlesinger, 7—5, 6—2; Hawkes boat Anderson;' 7 —5, C—2. The scores in the Hawkes-M'lnnes versus AndersOn-Schlesinger match were 6—2, 9 —ll, 7—7, when bad light caused an abandonment of the game, M'lnnes, who is only 21 years of ago and distinctly boyish in his build and in his ways, greatly impressed the onlookers by his all-round brilliancy and his sparkling shots. Anderson, excepting in isolated occasions, could do nothing right, especially against the strong westerly wind that was blowing across the court. The doubles seemed a certain win for Hawlies and M'lnnes, but a temporary recovery by Anderson saved the second sot after 10 sterling games. MINIATURE RIFLE SHOOTING.
