(Received May 30, at 9.55 p.m.) The Colonial Office announces that an Order-in-Council has been published in Jerusalem declaring the recent elections null and void owing to the lailure of the majority of the Arab population to exercise the franchise, and thus make possible the appointment of the 12 members of the High Commissioner’s Council.—A. and N.Z, Cable.
