DUNEDIN MOCK EXCHANGE

ANNUAL MEETING OF SHAREHOLDERS. The annual meeting of shareholders in the Dunedin Stock Exchange Proprietary (Ltd.) was held yesterday in the registered office, Reid’s buildings, Mr E. R. Smith (chairman of directors) presiding over a good attendance. The Chairman, in moving the adoption of the annual report and balance sheet, complimented the shareholders on the good position of the proprietary. The income was well maintained, as, owing to the excellent location of the proprietary’s building, its premises were always well let. The motion was seconded and spoken to by tur H. Baron, end carried after some remarks by Mr S. Solomon. Mr 0. Russell Smith was re-elected a director, and Mr C. H. Statham was reappointed auditor. Mr John Craig, in moving a vote of thanks to the directors and secretary, spoke in high terms of the care and attention bestowed on the proprietary’s concerns. The motion was carried with acclamation.
