The Union Steam Ship Company's steamer Kaituna, from Bunbury and Adelaide, which entered the Heads ehortly after 10 o'clock yesterday morning, anchored in the Lower Harbour for medical and Customs inspection. She berthed, at the Rattray street wharf yesterday afternoon to discharge hardwood and general cargo. She is to sail to-day for Lyttelton, Wellington, and Auckland. The Shaw Savill, and Albion Line steamer lonic, from 'London and Southampton, is to leave- Wellington about to-morrow for Lyttelton to complete discharge. The Canadian Government steamer Canadian Cruiser, with a cargo of and New Zealand produce, arrived at Ivw York from Auckland on May 22. She sailed from Auckland on April 10 for New York, Boston, and Halifax, ■"» CUMBERLAND FOR AUCKLAND. The New Zealand Shipping Company has recoiled advice that the Federal Line steamer , Cumberland sailed i'com Liverpool on May S' for Auckland, Wellington, Lyttelton, and unedin. She is duo at Auckland about July 2. MIDDLESEX DUE TO-DAY. Messrß Turnbull, Martin, and Co. advise that the Middlesex, from Liverpool, via nortnem ports, is due here thi3 morning to complete discharge of her Home cargo, and to commence loading for Boston, New York, and West Coast of England ports. She will sail about the end of the week for northern ports, where she will complete loading. <*>- NEW ORIENT LINER ORONSAY. Advice has been received in Australia that 'the now Orient Steam Navigation Company's Bteamer now building ha» been named OTonuay The new vessel will have a. gross tonnage of about 20,700, and will be a sister vessel to the Orama, also under construction at Barrow. There wad formerly a large Bailing vessel named Oronsay, and a 3700-ton Bteamer owned by the Western Steamship Company (Ltd.), of Glasgow. Both were .well known in Australian waters. The now vessel is being built at Clydebank by Messrs John Brown and Co. (Ltd.). TAIROA, FROM LIVERPOOL. The National Mortgage and Agency Company advises that the Shaw, Savill, and Albion Line steamer Tairoa. from Liverpool, via northern ports, is due hore about June 12 to complete discharge. She will later load for Homo at New Zealand ports.

TRANS-PACIFIC STEAMERS. The Union Steam Ship Company reports the following movements of tran3-Pacific vessels: The Waihemo, from Dunedin, arrived at San Francisco on, Wednesday, May IG, and loads at Pacific Coast porl3 for Napier, New Plymouth, Lyttelton, Dunedin, and Sydney. The Borongar (chartered steamer), from Pacific Ooaßt ports, via Auckland, arrived at Brisbane on Wednesday, May 23. Sho proceeds thence to Sydney and Melbourne. The Oxowaiti (chartered Bteamer) was due at San Francisco on Monday to load for Wellington. , The Wairuna, from Pacific Coast, via New Zealand ports, left Dunedin on Sunday for Melbourne and Sydney. The Waikawa sailed from Sydney on Thursday, May 17, for Vancouver, via Java. THE ADMTBAL CODRINGTON.
