LADIES’ HOCKEY ASSOCIATION
The weekly meeting of the Committee of the Qtngo Ladies’ Hockey Association whs attended by Mrs Hudson, Mrs Nelson, Misses While, Henderson, Foley, Dewar, Hughes, and Balk. The Secretary read a letter frjyn_ Hillgrove Club asking for an interpretation of several rules. A loiter was read from the Town Clerk stating that the report of a narrowly averted accident on the North Ground would coino ‘before the council at its next meeting. The President of the Clyde Ladies’ Club wrote asking that the matter of sending a representative team to Central Otago this year bo not overlooked. —It was decided to send a team, if possible, later in the season. The Secretary reported that there was a big increase in entries for the seven-a-side tournament on June 1, there being 11. A teams and 17 B’s (lust year’s entries being 8 and 14 respectively). Giving to the largo number of entries in B Grade, it was decided to play it in two sections.
