.CAST WOR© IN REVUES/ The, box plans for the five nights’ performances of the “Peep Show” will he opened at the Bristol Piano Company on Thursday morning next at 9 o’clock. The famous London Hippodrome revue ami extravaganza production, “Ihe Peep Show,” will ho, presented by J. C. Williamson (Ltd.) om Saturday next at His MajestyV Theatre. Writes the critic of the Australasian : "'This fetusfetl play, by ILSauri 'Wylie, with lyrics by Clifford If arris/ is of’ the quality and character (hat the public lores, and has proved a phenomenal success. Of the beautiful Mage dressings it is difficult to speak. They are alike triumphs of the scene painters’ art, the magio .blending of lights by the electricians, and the wonderful oos- . turning of the ballets by dress designers. AJI ako co ordinated into, an ■ artistic whole which never offends good taste by garishness or cheap ornateness. -The Oriental ballot; which for colour and imaginative aetr ting ia one of the finest features of the show, is a magnificent piece of work, 'ihe dancing and tableau effects in ‘Dutch Lullaby,’ m which Miss eral tots appeared, was exceedingly well done,' and trie ‘Sultan and the Slave’ ballet is a perfect piece of work.” The musical numbers in “The Peep Show” are numerous and tuneful. ‘‘Prince of My Heart,” “Powder Puff,” “Dolly Varden,” “Main Street,” : “Find Me Two Dear Eyes,” and '“Georgette.” are among the many that are specially-'alluring. The song hit, however, is i“Whoso Baby are You ”■ splendidly sung by* Mr J. 11. Wakefield, “The Peep Show,” in 17 "Peeps,” is lavishly costumed and appointed, and takes some 200 people to interpret. , A specially fine cast has been scoured, including Misses Moun. Magnet, .Phyllis Beadou, Messrs J. H. Wakefield, Jack Cannot, William Greene, Joe Brennan, Edgoley and Dawo. Reginald Roberts, George Willoughby, also Misses Phyllis Atnery and' Daisy Yates. A sensation' in comedy acrobatics may be anticipated in the amazing turn of Melfo and Nello, two artists with a great European reputation. There will bo no matinee performance of “The Peep Show.”
