Because the animals are line bred to Baron’s Pride, Sir Everard, Top Gallant, Baron of Buchlyvie, and Bonnie Buchlyvie. 2. All the sires and dams carry their Government Veterinary Life Certificate. 3. Every animal will be sold with a Government Veterinary Guarantee. 4. Any stallions offered will be proved reproducers, and will be sold under that guarantee. 5. All mares are also guaranteed proved reproducers, and will be sold as sndh. 6. All animals will be sold absolutely without reserve. 7. AH animals being offered for sale are from imported Scottish stock on both sides. 8. All the imported dame and sires, being o registered in the Stud Books of Groat Britain, their progeny are eligible for any Stud Book in the world. 9. All the progeny being offered for sale are registered in the Stud Book of New Zealand, while most of the dams and sires are registered in the Stud Book of Great Britain. 10. All mares three years old and over have been mated to imported G.V.L.C. stallions, or those bred in New Zealand from imported dams and sires on both sides. 11. The Clydesdales bred- at Wai-Rongoa, North Taieri, Otago, are carrying all before them against New Zealand’s best, including imported Scottish Clydesdales, in open competition at the parades and shows. 12. Some of the sires and great-sires have been sold at public auction for such prices as 9500 guineas, 5200 guineas, 1000 guineas, 1700 guineas; while offers of 2000 guineas have been refused for some of the colts bred at Wai-Rongoa. 15. There is no sounder, bettor bred, or hotter coloured Clydesdales in the world. 14. They were bred and selected in Scotland by 22 of the best Clydesdale judges in that country. 15. Their sires and great-sires are Imperialist, Oyama, Scotland Yet, Up-to-time, Dunure Footprint, Sir Hugo, Sir Everard, Silver Cup, Ascot. Bonnie Buchlyvie, Baron of Buchlyvie, Eevelanta, Royal Favourite, Baron’s Pride, Newton Chief, Scotland’s Viceroy, Scotland’s Success. 16. In 10 years the Wai-Rongoa Clydesdales have won 69 Championships, 320 Firsts, 147 Seconds in Scotland and New Zealand, the Seconds and Thirds being beaten by their own winners. 17. From Atfords taken Clydesdales bred at Wai-Rongoa have proved to bo the most prolific reproducers, and they arc noted for their longevity. 18. They are bred from such imported G.V.L.C. dams as Baton’s Brilliant, Silver Cloud, Ena, Moireen, Lady Buchlyvie, Pride of Trowen, Choicest Queen, Bonnie Queen, White Rose, etc. 19. From 1906 to 1919 all the sires and "roat-sires stood on the breeding list m the best breeding Clydesdales of the world during their time. 20 The sires and great-sires won over 40 Championships and 40 Firsts in Scotland in open competition against the best Clydesdales in the world. 21.
