CANTERBURY v. OTAGO. The annual interprovinciul lawn iounis match between Otago and Canterbury will be played at Anderson’s Bay to-day, and a very fine exhibition of the game is anticipated. Full arrangements have been made for Urn fixture by a sub-comrniltee of tho Otago Lawn Tennis Association, and morning and afternoon tea will lie available on tho courts. Play will be started at 10 mm., and as Canterbury has sent down a vo&y strong side some high-class tennis should be'witnessed. The visitors, who arrivad last evening, were welcomed at tho station by Mr S. X. Brown (president) and several members of the local executive. In view of fids fixiurb' all the local grade matches have boon postponed, and it is hoped that there will bo a largo attendance cf players, particularly juniors, who will find that there is much for them to learn.
