CITIZENS’ GARDEN FETE
Tbo annual Citizens’ Garden Fete will bo held in tho Botanic Gardens on Saturday, March 10, and all arrangements have been made to make the fete a successful one. In addition to several side shows and other attractions, there will be dancing and decorative competitions. Produce, sweets, flowers, ice-cream, and soft drinks can be obtained at the respective stalls, and mere will also be a refreshment tent for morning and afternoon tea. An art union will be held in connection with the fete, and holders of those tickets will bo admitted to the fete. Tickets for the art union may bo obtained at all the leading tobacconists and at. tho music warehouses.
The object of the feto is to obtain funds for improving the various city playing areas, so by offering their patronage the public will assist in the improvement of their own property.
