REPORT FOR JANUARY. Following is a summary of tho 29 notifications of infectious diseases received in tiio Public Health Office, Dunedin, during January; Scarlet fcvoi: Otago 1. Southland 1 Diphtheria,: "Waitaki 1, Otago 3, Vincent 1, Maniololo 1, Southland 1. Enteric fever: Otago 1. Tuberculosis: Otago 9, South Otago 2, Vincent 1, Southland 3. Puerperal septicaemia: Otago 2. Erysipelas: Wailaki 1. Acute primary pneumonia; Waitaki 1. Eight deaths were notified, all being attributed to tuberculosis.
