RIFLE SHOOTING

The Kaitangale, Rifle Club fired the first match of the second comjoetition lor the Carson Cup Championship on Gentrewood range on Saturday. There was a fair number of members competing. Four reached the limit (66), the most prominent being Captain J. Rutherford and Riflemen George Frazer, two old veterans of the club. Tho day was very boisterous, tho wind blowing in strong gusts. Tho conditions were seven shots and an optional sighter at each of the 300 and 500 yards ranges. Scores:
