A Wellington T’ress Association message says that the police liave issued a warning to a gang of expert pickpockets operating in ,thp city and on racecourses. A demonstration of unemployed seamen took place at Auckland, when after attending a meeting at the Trades Hall, over 600 marched in procession through the city, ino procession was headed by the rsenmen's Union banner and a piper and kettle druimner.
