'"'But, despite the result of the ballot, there will be no strike," stated water? ddo workers to a Post reporter to-day. ' They added that the waterside workers desired to use a constitutional method to rectify their grievances, and that the officials of the federation, who are also officials of the Alliance of Labour, do not want a strike, because they are frightened of the new union which has been formed in •, Wellington.
