The Storm, which is duo here to-mghl from Lyttelton, is to sail to-morrow for Timaru. Lyttelton. Pieton, and Wanganui. The Calm, which is due hero about Saturday from Lyttelton, is to sail the same day for Timaru, Lyttelton, Wellington, and "W anganui. The Ngatoro, from Napier direct, which Arrived here yesterday morning, is to sail to-day for Oatnaru, Timaru, Lyttelton. Wellington, Napier, and Gisborne. The Wanaka, which has been delayed at Lyttelton owing to rain, is due hero to-day, end is to sail to-day for Bluff. She will return here about Friday to load for Auckland, via ports The Kahika, from Wellington, is due here to-morrow, and is to sail for New Plymouth end Nelson, via ports. Tho Waitemata, from Calcutta, via Auckland, Wellington, and Lyttelton, is due here to-day to continue discharge of her Eastern cargo. Sho will then proceed to Bluff. WITHIN WIRELESS RANGE. The following vessels were expected to he ■within range of the undermentioned wireless stations last night:—Auckland: Manuka, Marama, Makura, Wairuna, Arahura, Kent, Government a.s. Tutanekai, Bovcric, Navua, Calna. Chatham Islands: lonic. Wellington; Maori, Waihine, Ngaio, Wanaka, Moclaki, Katoa, Port Hunter, Whangape, Port Darwin, Cumberland, Tredcnham, Devon, Tekoa, Maunganni, Canadian Pioneer, WaiLora, and Iron Chief. "FISHIND BOAT MISSING. The fishing boat Pat Marley is reported to have left Wairau Bar on January 3 for Port Underwood. Since that date, however, there has been no word or trace of this vessel. The Marino Department request masters c.f vesBnls passing in that vicinity to keep a lookout for the Pat Marley, and report any sign of her. PUKAKI, WITH GUANO. The Glaucus reports that about a fortnight after sho cleared Walpole Island on December 17 for Surprise Island the steamer Pukaki arrived at Walpole to load 1500 tons of guano for New Zealand. She will como to Cape Maria Van Dieman for discharging orders, and should report very shortly. ITALIAN PASSENGER SERVICE. The Re dTtalia, which is inaugurating the Lloyd Sabauda passenger service between Genoa and Australian ports, has arrived at Sydney. A steel screw steamer of G 237 tons gross, the Re dTtalia, was built in 1907 at the Sunderland yards of -Sir J. Laing and Sons (Ltd.). Sho has three decks, including the shelter decks, an,d is provided with up-to-date passenger accommodation. She has a length of 430 ft and a beam of 52ft, and refrigerating machinery. Before coming to Australia she was engaged on the company’s New York run. TREKIEVE AND TREVESSA. The New Zealand Shipping Company has received advice that the steamer Treldeve left St. John for New York on December 27. She was to leave New York on Friday for Auckland, Wellington, Lyttelton, Dunedin, and thence Melbourne and Sydney, to complete discharge. This vessel is expected at Auckland about February 26. Tho steamer Trevessa left Liverpool on January 2 for Sydney (Nova Scotia). She is then to load at St. John and New York. She will leave New York in tho middle of February for New Zealand and Australian ports. Tho vessel will unload in New Zealand to tho agency of the New Zealand ' Shipping Company. NEW YORK TO AUSTRALIA. A syndicate with a capital of 10,000 dollars, has been formed in the United States of America for tho loading of freight to Australian ports (says the Sydney Shipping List). It is understood that Sir William Reardon Smith and Sons (Ltd.), of Cardiff and London, are behind tho proposition, by supplying the necessary tonnage. Tho vessels of_ the line will load at Philadelphia, New York, arid Port Arthur (Texas), for Australia. The inaugural steamer of the line will ho the Jersey City, which was pcheduled to sail from New York on November 21 for Brisbane, Sydney, Melbourne, and Adelaide. In addition, sho may probably call at two New Zealand porta. Vessels of tho line are well known in Sydney, particularly the Jersey City and Paris City, the latter vessel on two occasions having loaded bulk wheat at Sydney with satisfactory results. Evidently those vessels will bring general cargo out to the commonwealth and then load wheat back to the United Kingdom or Continent. CANADIAN GOVERNMENT LINE. Messrs H. L. Tapley and Co., local agents for the Canadian Government Line, report the following movements: Tho Canadian Explorer, homeward bound, arrived at Boston, on January 7. Tho Canadian Traveller left Vancouver on January 7 for Auckland, Sydney, Melbourne, and Adelaide. Tho Canadian Cruiser left Halifax on December 23 for Australian and New Zealand porta. She will be followed by the Canadian Constructor, wiich is to leave Halifax on January 20. The Canadian Planter, from Montreal, was due at Brisbane on January 13, She will continue discharging at Sydney, Melbourne, and Adelaide. The vessel is to leave Adelaide about February 8 for New Zealand ports, where she will load general cargo for Now lork, Boston, Halifax, and inland town# in tho United States and Canada.

THE INTERCOLONIAL SERVICE. The Manuka, which left Sydney on January 12, was duo at Auckland yesterday. She is to leave Auckland on January 19 for Sydney. The Mararaa, from Auckland, which arrived at Sydney yesterday, is to leave Sydney on January 19 for Wellington, where she is duo on the 23rd. She is expected to sail from Wellington on January 26 for Svdney. The Ulimaroo, which left Wellington on January 12 for Sydney, arrived at the New South Wales port yesterday morning.
