BURNS CLUB CONCERT
Ihe Dunedin Burns Club’s concert to celebrate the birth of Scotland’s national hard, will he hold in Hi.-> Majesty’s Theatre on Tuesday, January 23. Ah exceptionally nno programme has been arranged. a short address will be given by Mss Mary King, M.A., principal of the Girls’ High School, and included in the performers are Miss Elspoth Denholm (Oamaru), (he champion soloist at the recent Wellington competitions, and Miss Annie Duff (Glasgow), well known to Dunedin audiences as rhe' finest interpreter of .Scottish song in (lie dominion. A dance will follow in Victoria Hall. The box plan is now open.
