FLAG SWAMP SCHOOL
The hroak-up ceremony in connection with the Flag Swamp School was largely attended. The children, under the direction of their teacher. Miss Shea, provided a pleasing programme of solos, dialogues, recitations, ond dances. The Rev. J. J. Cairncy, who distributed the prizes, spoke in complimentary terms of the work of tho teacher, and also of the manner in which tho chairman cf committee (Mr A. B. Scott) had carried out his duties. Following is the prize list: Merit prizes.—Standard VI —First class (proficiency certificates): Alice Lee, Mtiry Scott, Isla Baird, Muriel Dempster. Standard A T —First class: Gladys Baird, Alex. Crossan. Second class: Evelyn Moffitt. Progress: Effie AVilson, Phyllis Rogers.
Standard lA'—First class: Phyllis Thomson, Steven Lee. Second .class: Myrtle Baird, Neil M’Gregor. Progress: AVillie Tebbot I.
Standard III —First class: Frank Simp son, AVillie Meehan. Second class: Camp bell AVhite, James Crosian, Belly Cullen Progress: AVillie AVilson, Douglas Demp Bier.
