The exports decreased bv £479,718, and the re-exports decreased by £724,525. The principal increases were-:—ln imports : Grain and flour. £2,557,428; raw cotton, jC2.446,463. In exports: Coal, £1.326,693. The chief decreases were : —ln imports: Non-dutiable food and drink. £835.552. In exports: Vehicles, £2.765,413; cotton varns and manufactures. £12,617 ; machinery, £620,961.—A. and N.Z. Cable.
