DUNEDIN STOCK EXCHANGE. A firm; tone was again maintained on 'Change yesterday, when business was done in several classes of shares. Banking shares remained about the sumo as on the previous days, but National Banks firmed slightly, a sale taking place at £6 Bs, the market closing with a Is 6d margin. New Zealand Refrigeratings (paid) were in demand at 28s 3d, without attracting any response, while 15s -Id was offered for the contributings, the seller asking 15s 7d. Two parcels of Waihis changed hands at 34s 3d, and two at 84s, the hammer falling with tho buying price at 34s and tho selling at 34s 3d. Government bonds were also in demand at good figures, a parcel of 4J per cent. 1933’e changing hands at £96 12s 6d.
