EXPORT OF LAMB
IMPORTERS REPLY TO BOARD. Press Association —By Telegraph—Copyright LONDON, January 10. (Received Jan. 11, at 8.5 p.m.) Replying to the New Zealand Meat Board’s cable announcing its intention to continue shipping lambs with the kidneys, the Incorporated Society of Meat Importers says that if this course is pursued the board must bear the consequences. Buyers will expect the board to make good all losses. The society fails to understand why the change has been made against the unanimous and strongest protest of the trade, which has been a buyer of New Zealand lambs for many years.—A. and N.Z. Cable.
