CARGO PILFERING
SEAMAN CHARGED. (Per United Press Association.) ' WELLINGTON, January 10. David Mnelfay, a seaman, pleaded guilty this morning to the theft of eight rolls of serge, valued at £lOl 14s 3d. (he property of the Now Zealand Shipping Company. The serge was taken from the steamer Suffolk and gold to a detect ivo who posed as a, tailor. The accused was committed to the Supreme Court for .sentence.
