LOVELL’S FLAT SPORTS
The fourth annual sports meeting at Lovell's Flat was held on Tuesday last. The weather was very favourable, and the attendance was larger than ever before, tho gate takings amounting to close on £22. The entries for the various events were well i p to those of previous years, those for the dancing competitions being very numerous. The committee was kept busy, and all did their best to make the meeting a success. The following is tho prize-list: 100 Yards Maiden Handicap.—E. Cuff 1, A. Bark 2. . 221) Yards Handicap.—H.
