If, as is confidently expected, tho researches of these geologists warrant it, drilling for oil will be undertaken at the earliest moment, and should oil in commercial. quantity bo developed in Macedonia, Britain will have the only oilfield in the Mediterranean on the . world's greatest trade route, and its fuel ** *■ • supply there will be assured.
