SCHOLASTIC APPOINTMENTS
MARSDEN COLLEGIATE SCHOOL. (From Our Own Correspondent.) LONDON’, November 24. Miss E. M. Baber, M.A., principal of the Marsden Collegiate School, La railin'; by >ho Ruapehu, whose departure has been postponed for a few days. She will be accompanied by two new mistresses whom she has selected in England, and there are two more appointments which she hopes to make within the short time now available. Hiss Margaret Hartley, who has had seven years of teaching experience, was educated at Roeden, Brighton, and at Newnhara College. She has her classical tripos. Miss Williamson took a first-claes diploma at the Liverpool Training College, and she lias had eight years’ teaching experience, while with her, Mies Baber has received the moat enthusiastic testimonials. The bead of the college, with whom Miss Baber telegraphed as to her suitableness in comparison with another applicant, immediately replied: “Mias Williamson if available; a splendid girl.”
