MOTOR CYCLIST STRUCK BY A TRAIN. (Feb United Press Association.) CHRISTCHURCH. January'4. A collision between a motor-cycle and a train at Raugiora this evening resulted in the death of James Steward, aged 29 years, married, a teller in tho Union Bank at. Kangiora. When approaching Ayres _street crossing, he evidently noticed a trnrn approaching and applied the brakes, but the cycle skidded about 14 yards, and was struck by the locomotive.
