THE SANDERS CUP
WINIFRED CHOSEN TO REPRESENT OTAGO.. At a meeting of the executive of the Otago Yacht and Motor Boat Association last night Mr C. Speight’s Winifred was chosen to represent Otago in this year’s Sanders Cup races. The boat will be dispatched for Auckland, in charge of Mr D. Patterson, on January 13. and the crew, consisting of'G. Kollott (skipper), the two brothers Connor, and Treuiii, will leave on January 20. The three delegates appointed to represent the Otago Association at Auckland are Messrs H. B. Mollor, R. It. Miller, and O. W. Sundstrum. Mr W. J. P. M'Culloch’s Heather will be on view in full rig in the Octagon on Friday, and for the two or three successive days, with the object of raising funds to send the Winifred’s crew to Auckland. The first race will take place on January 30.
