Press Association—By Telegraph—Copyright DELHI, December 31. ; The National Congress, by an overwhelming majority, adopted a resolution repudiating all debts and liabilities incurred henceforward by the Government of India, existing liabilities being excepted.—Reuter. The congress, by a. majority, rejected a resolution in favour of boycotting British goods, after it had been passed by the Subjects Committee. The opponents of the motion declared that such a policy was impracticable, that it would prove economically injurious, and would antagonise the British Labourites. The Kaliphate Conference carried, by a large majority, a resolution favouring a boycott of British goods, and appointed a committee to arrange the details of the boycott.
