TAKE NOTICE that the St. Kilda Borough Council, under the provisions of “The Dog Registration Act, 1908,” has by Resolution fixed the fees to be paid within the Borough of St. Kilda for the year commencing Ist January, 1923, at Ten Shillings (10s) per dog, and the said Council has appointed its Office, Town Hall, St. Kilda, as the Registration Office at which Dogs may be registered. W. G. GRIFFIN, 27d Town Olerk. jgOROUGH OF LAWRENCE. NOTICE OF SPECIAL ORDER AUTHORISING RAISING OF LOAN TO EXTINGUISH ANTECEDENT LIABILITY. NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that at a Special Meeting of the Lawrence Borough Council, called for the purpose, and held on Friday, the 15th day of December, 1922, the following Special Resolution, intended to operate as a Special Order, was passed: RESOLUTION. WHEREAS the antecedent liability of the Lawrence Borough Council within the moaning of “The Local Bodies’ Finance Act, 1921-22,” as at the end of its financial year ending on the 31st day of March, 1922, amounted to £650, NOW THEREFORE the said Council, in pursuance find exorcise of the powers vested in it by Section 6 of the said Act and by “The Local Bodies’ Loans Act, 1913,” and of every, if any other, power so enabling it, and with the precedent consent of, the Governor-General in Council under Section 20 of “The Finance Act, 1919,” hereby resolves by way ol Special Order; — 1. For the purpose of extinguishing the said antecedent liability to raise a special loan of £650, repayable at Lawrence on the fourth day of Sepbor, 1932. 2. That the said loan of £650 bo raised by the sale of five Debentures of. £IOO each and one Debenture of £l5O, having a currency of nine years and six months from the fourth day of March, 1823, and bearing interest at the rate of Six Pounds per centum per annum, payable half-yearly at -uawronco, and charged on a special rate of sixpence in the £ upon the annual rateable value of all rateable property in the Borough of Lawrence. 3. That a sinking fund of £l2 per annum be created for the repayment of the said loan of £650. 4. That the said loan of £650 and the interest, sinking fund, and other charges in respect thereof bo also charged upon the general revenue of the Borough of Lawrence, from whatsoever source derivable, subject to the existing charges thereon, 5. To pay the interest and sinking fund on tno said loan out of its general fund until the further resolution of the said Council. AND NOTICE IS ALSO HEREBY GIVEN that the said Resolution will bo submitted to the Ordinary Meeting of the said Council, to bo hold at the Borough Council Offices, Ross place.
