TWO WOMEN SENTENCED

Mr Justice Shearman has sentenced two more women to death, creating a judicial record. The jury strongly recommended both to mercy. ' Both were removed in a fainting condition. The first was sentenced for throwing a child from Tower Bridge, and theisecond for murdering a woman, who, it was alleged, had intrigued with prisoner’s husband.
