WIRELESS COMMUNICATION
SOUTH AFRICAN SCHEME. Press Association—By Telegraph—Copyright■ CAPETOWN, December 12. Mr M'Lellan, the Marconi Company's engineer in charge, of the construction of the South African wireless direct com munication, has arrived. He states that the installation will be the biggest in the world, and will give direct sen-ice to practically every country. A start will be made immediately the agreement is ratified by Parliament. —A. and N.Z. Cable. IMPERIAL SERVICE. DELAY IN ESTABLISHMENT. LONDON, December 12. (Received Dec. 13, at 8.5 p.m.) The Daily Chronicle states that the Government has appointed a committee of the Cabinet, under the chairmanship of Mr L. C. M. S. Amery (First Lord of the Admiralty) to inauire into the delay in establishing an Imperial wireless service. It is understood that the dominions' interests will be represented.— A. and N.Z. Cable.
