TO THE EDITOB. Sib, —Permit me to draw attention to an error in tho addition of the returns i for the Dunedin Central election, published in your issue of the Bth inst. Mr Statham is credited with, receiving 4830 votes. I ~-tfcink the total should bo 4680. I am credited with receiving 346 votes. It should have been 434. Mr Stutham is also credited -with having a majority of 631 votes. Tho correct majority to dale is 47 'wi f h absentee votes to come in.—l am, etc., W. S Mablin. ♦Anderson a Bay, December It.
