REUNION OF LIBERALS. PARTY FUNDS DISPUTE. Press Association —By Telegraph—Copyright LONDON, December 10. The question of the party funds is likely to give the proposed Liberal reunion a sudden set-back Isays the Daily Mail’s political correspondent). The Asquithians, whose funds arc comparatively insignificant, are casting covetous eyes on the Lloyd Georgian funds. Though the total has never officially been divulged, it is believed to exceed £2,000,000. The Aeqnithians argue that the fund was subscribed for Liberal propaganda, and as the Asquithians are predominant in the Liberal Party they are entitled to the money. It is suggested that the matter should bo determined by a court of law. The adjourned meeting to discuss reunion will be held on Monday.—A. and N.Z. Cable.
