(Received Oct. 16, at 8.5 p.m.) The Morning Post’s Belgrade correspondent states that Jugo-Slavia is senouslj alarmed by the Fascist! invasion of the Fiume area in order to prevent the Italians evacuating the third zone and Sushak. Skirmishing between the Fascisti and D’Annunzio’s legionaries and Jugo-Slavia has begun. There were some casualties. Jugo-Slavia is calling on the Government to take immediate steps to deal with the Fascisti invasion, while a Jugo-Slav nationalistic movement, numbering 80,000 members, is mobilising bands to march to Sushak to meet the Italians.—A. and N.Z.
