It would have pleasbd Andrew Carnegie 1q see the latest branches of his libraries in Minnesota (U.S.A.). bond vans have been fitted up with bookshelves, and assigned to special routes in rural districts, ro that people unable to get, access to a library have one brought to their doors. A chauffeur and a librarian accompany each oi those travelling libraries.
