FLOWER SHOW
Tho spring show of flic Dunedin Horticultural Society will ho opened to the public ;i( 1.30 p.m. today. The entries have exceeded expectations, nnd n fine display is assured. \ot only have local exhibitors come forward in_ force, but entries are to hand from Christchurch, Lawrence. and elsewhere. Mr A. tt. Bull, a leading Christchurch grower, has brought down a nice collection, and promises to show something very special in the poetiens class. Keen competition is assured in tho open .and amateur championships, also in the Moss Memorial and the seedling classes. The Christchurch exhibit, in the interprovincial competition will come to hand to tnoirmv night. This competition, which no doubt will prove a groat attraction, will he staged and judged on Wednesday. Cut flowers other than narcissi nnd the decorative section will bo features of the show.
