OUTPOST FIGHTING
CASUALTIES ON BOTH SIDES ATHENS, September 30. A communique dated September 29 •states; “The enemy entered the neutral zone and occupied Esafaalan. They killed 11 soldiers manning an outpost. We dislodged the enemy by means of a counterattack. The enemy lost 26 killed. Our losses were one killed and one wounded.” —A. and N.Z. Cable. FRANCE STANDS OUT. PARIS, September 30. (Deceived Oct. 2, at 0.20 a.m.) It is authoritatively stated that Francs will not participate in any Anglo-Tnrkish conflict. —A. and N.Z. Cable.
