Announcements of Births, Marriages, and Deaths sent by post for publication must bear tbs signature of our agent, a clergyman, or a J.P. Charge for these, 3a each prepaid, or 4s If booked, when not exceeding five lines, and Bd for each line over five. “In Memorlam " notices are inserted at the same rates, but when verses are added an additional charge of 6d per line is made for each Una of spaoe occupied. Notices of Deaths and Private Interment without reference to either time or place of interment: prepaid 6a Bd, booked 6s Bd. Notices of Death and Funeral, either where the funeral notice le a separate advertisement or is part of the death notice: prepaid 9a, booked 10s. In computing the lines ol space to be occupied, advertisers are notified that they can reckon six words to the line. All words over 80 are, therefore, charged at Bd for each six words. Notifications of Birth, Marriages, and Deaths appearing in the Daily Times are inserted also in the Witness without additional charge. Advertisers are informed that letters addressed to a nom de plume or initials, oars ol any Post Office, will not in future bo delivered by the Postal Department.
