The Commonwealth and Dominion Line steamer Port Lincoln, from New York, via Panama. Auckland, Wellington, end Lyttelton, arrived here yesterday morning, and berthed at the Victoria wharf to discharge 173 tema of general cargo and 6500 oases of oil On leaving New York she had 3000 tons of general cargo, 10,500 cases of oil, and 121 motor cars on board. The voyage was uneventful for part of the journey across the Pacific, but when within seven days of Auckland she ran into a very strong northwest gale, which caused her to roll and pitch heavily. This storm continued for about 36 hours, and then abated for a day, but she ran into a south-west gal© which lasted until she reached the New Zealand coast. Tho voyage from New York to Auckland was made in 28 days, with an average speed of 12i knots an hour, the vessel taking 214 days from Panama to New Zealand. The best time recorded in one day was 330 miles, or 13.5 knots an hour. Captain C. N. Jones is in command, and has with him the following officers: —First, Mr C. P. Thrower; second, Mr A.
