Tlw popular programme at the Empire theatre just now includes Mary Miles Minter in ‘Eyes of the. Heart,’’ topical and scenic pictures, a Sennett comedy and another romantic drama.' -.. The notable picture, “Over the Hill,” was presented at the Octagon Theatre for the last time last night, and will be replaced to-day by a Hodkinson production entitled Down Home.” , Scratch My Bade,” a six-reel comedy, is the chief attraction of the new programme at the Grand Theatre to-day. Another big picture is “The Strength of the Pines,” a live-act Fox drama featuring William. Russell. There is a good list of supports. There will bo a complete change of programme at the Plaza Theatre to-day when •‘Scratch My Back/’ a six-reel comedy produced by Rex Beach, will bo screened The supports include “The Strength of the Pinos,” featuring William Bussell, and episode two of “Winners of the West.” The programme, which includes the burlesque “Red Hot Romance” and Will Hart in “Staking His Life,” was presented for the lost time at the Queen’s Theatre last night. Jackie Coogan in “Peck’s Bad Boy” is the feature of the changed programme to-day. The current programme at Everybody’s Theatre offers D.uglas Fairbanks in the pretty love romance “The March of Zorro,” and also Larry Semon in “The Fall Guy.” The chief attraction on the bill at the King Edward Theatre is the comedy “Red Hot Romance,” but there are a number of other successful pictures accompanying it.
