UNVEILING CEREMONY

At Dunback School on June 7 the roll of ' - honour in memory of ex-pupils of the school V who took part in the Great War was unveiled in the presence of the teachers, pupils, and members of the school com- 1 mittee, and residents of the district. The ceremony commenced by the singing of the hymn “Oh, God of Bethel” Mid alsoi'v the song “My Native Land,” followed by - prayer by the Rev. H. Blair. Addresses' were given by Messrs Kelly, Stewart, and " 1 Ritchie. The tablet having been unveiled ' by Mrs Stewart, the ceremony closed by the singing of the National Anthem. Thirty 1 ex-pupils of the school served in the Great ' - War, six of whom made the supreme sacri- ' fice —namely: W. Kennedy, A. Kennedy. A.'& Venn, J. M'Farlane, G. Cockerill, and J, M'Gregor. • ‘
