HTDE PARK DEMONSTRATION.
QUESTION OF GERMANY’S ADMIS MISSION.
Press Association—By Telegraph—Copyright LONDON, June 25. A demonstration was held in Hyde Park to 'celebrate the third anniversary of the signing of the Covenant of the League of Nations. Lord Robert Cecil, Mr G. N. Barnes, M.P., Lady Astor, M.P., and Mrs Winteringham, M.P., with Mrs Philip Snowden and others, delivered addresses from 10 platforms. Mr Lloyd George, referring to Germany’s admission to the League of Nations, said: “I wimt Germany there, and if a proposal is put before the League Council the British Government will vote for her admission. We also want the United States, and when Russia is clothed in her right mind we want her there. We want the whole earth there.” —A. and N.Z. Cable. -
