PRINCESS THEATRE
THE NEW PROGRAMME. Fuller patrons will find “full measure brimming over” in the entertainment promised at the Princess Theatre this evening. It will be a programme of light-hearted comedy. Fuller’s American Revue Company, now prime favourites, will present a matrimonial tangle with musical trimmings, entitled “Not Yet.” The piece is said to bo intensely humorous, the stage setting to be unusually brilliant, and the costuming of excellent quality. Geo. Ward has full scope in his inimitable character of Hermio Schultz. The plot (in brief) relates how Sherman, having proposed to a lady, attempts to purchase immunity by bribing Hermie to take his place. The amusing situations arising from this situation give full scope to tho strong comedy cast, while Mabello Morgan, Ida Merton, and Curly Sherwood are excellently cast. It will be a welcome announcement that Mr Frank Whitman, “the, dance-mad fiddler,” is retained for tho week. Labelled a “star,” he lives up to his billing as few do. An expert in fiddling and in dancing, his combination of both is sensational. Two new acta to make debut are Saunders and Roberts (a comedy patter team) and the English burlesque pair, Huley and Bent. Emerald and Dupre, firm favourites, complete an excellent bill.
