Anglican synod’s resolution. (Pis United Press Association.) ' ; AUCKLAND,, May 5. Regarding the liquor question, the Anglican Synod adopted a resolution put forward by'thd Primate in . place’ of the. motion moved ’previously by Archdeacon Chatterton. The Primate’s resolution reads; ‘That tliat Synod expresses its strong conviction that it is the bounden duty of Christian people, unless they are prepared to .vote for total prohibition, to have some other, drastic remedy for , ah. evil' which, is , Sapping the morals and efficiency of the community.”
