A concert in aid of Dr Barnardo’a Home was given to a full house in the Palmerston Town Hall last Wednesday evening, the programme being contributed by the following;—Overture, Palmerston Orchestra; songs—Mesdames Smith- and Wedge, Misses Hurhdell, Lake, and Teviotdale, Messrs Hayes and M’Lennan, and Master Adams; recitations —Mrs Wedge and Miss Moody: dances, Miss Kitty Murray. Mesdames Adams, Mayer, and Miss Bain acted as accompanists.
