M’LEOD.—On May 2, at the residence of her son-in-law (G. Menzies), Craigie avenue, Timaru, Robina Martin, relict of William M’Leod, late of Cuversham; aged 82 years.— Funeral will leave the residence of her son (Mr D. M’Leod), 14 Bridge street, Caversham Rise, Dunedin, To-morrow (Friday), sth inst., at 10.30 a.m., for the Southern Cemetery.—C. J. Thom, undertaker. Announcements of,Births, Marriages, and Deaths sent by post for publication must bear the signature of our agent, a clergyman, or a J.P. Charge for these, 3s each prepaid, or 4s if booked, when not exceeding five lines, and Gd for each line over five. “In Memoriam ” notices are inserted at the same rates, but when verses are added an additional charge of 6d per line,is made lor each line of space occupied. Notices of Deaths and Private Interment without reference to either time or place of interment: prepaid 6s 6d, j booked 6s Gd. Notices of Death and Funeral, either where the funeral notice Is a separate advertisement or is part of the death notice: prepaid 9s, booked 10s. In computing the lines of space to be occupied, advertisers are notified that they oan reckon six words to the line. AH words ovcf 30 are, therefore, charged at Gd tor each six words. Notifications of Birth, Marriages, and Deaths appearing in the Dally, Times are inserted also In the Witness without, additional charge. Advertisers are informed that letters addressed to a nom de plume or initials, care of any Post Office, will not in future be delivered by the Postal Department. To enable advertisers to obtain delivery of their replies when addressed to a Post Office it will be necessary tor them to insert their full names as well a- their addresses in their advertisements.
