(Received May 2, at 7.15 p.m.) A" piquant sequel to Mr Hughes’s recent refusal to allow some German engineers to land at Melbourne for the purpose of erecting the Morwell Briquetting Company’s plant is that, permission naving been subsequently granted, the Germans now refuse to go.
